The native cabbage tree species, or tī koūka, was a friend to early settlers and Māori alike. Maōri have a multitude of uses for it as a first aid kit, and spiritual icon, and settlers prize it for use in their chimneys because of its' fire resistance.
This artwork features the tī koūka tree carved into recycled Pōhutukawa, set on a stand, and beautifully inlaid with green glass

Suitable for Indoors and Outdoors

Made from recycled trimmings and transformed into art
